A Nightmare on Elm Street

A definitive horror film from director Wes Craven, featuring possibly the most iconic character in the genre - Freddy Krueger - the 1984 classic A Nightmare On Elm Street achieved a status few films could in its immediate and lasting effect on cinema and pop culture.

Presented here in a double-bill screening with the film widely regarded as the best of its sequels - 1987's Dream Warriors.

Taking place at Sheffield's historic Abbeydale Picture House - a Grade II listed 1920's picture palace cinema, bringing the sense occasion to match some of cinema's most iconic films.

Part of the Reel Steel Cult Weekender Film Festival.

Doors open 6pm
A Nightmare On Elm Street starts 7pm
followed by 30 minute interval
Dream Warriors starts 9pm
